   [FaeF] is extremely young, speaking frankly it is something about 20 days
old =)  [[6-11-97] now a bit older =)]  24 Aug 1997 is the official creation
date of [FaeF].
   The idea of creating a demo group appeared in the middle of August, during
a netmail conversation between Yoletir and LEONKiNG. We decided that probably
we would create something, but nothing was definite.
   Then there was ENLiGHT '97. Yoletir couldn't get there in the first day,
so he came there in the second day, full of bright hopes. :) As you might know,
the second day of ENLiGHT was cancelled. :( Anyway, in the crowd assembled
at the entrance, Yoletir met LEONKiNG, and they went to drink beer. After
several bottles, Yoletir invented the name of the group, LEONKiNG agreed to
join, so FaerieFire was created.
   So then [FaeF] had only 2 members: Yoletir & LEONKiNG. No certain plans
existed at that moment. For one and a half weeks FaerieFire rested =)
4 Sep 97 EXeLENZ returned from distant lands. Yoletir, being an old friend
of EXeL, and being aware of his game making talents, invited him to join.
So FaerieFire has finaly grown to as big as 3 people. 13 Sep 97 we all
gathered at EXeL's home to form plans for future (Before that Ex & Lk
had not ever seen each other). Plans were formed. We decided not to
concentrate on demos only, but also to do other programming. EXeLENZ was
elected the Prezident (i wish to know why =) ) Later that day, tired of
watching new (and old) demos, we decided to do something useful ...
When digging through heaps of old proggies by EXeLENZ, we found a nice
.BAS source drawing some pattern. We liked it and decided to translate
it to C. Then we added some extra features, palette effects and so on,
and the source has finally grown to the huge 3K. =) (Not including the 25K
of the graphics library by Ex =) ). So we made litil (hm-m-m...)
bubbletro =)
   Now we all are working hard on becoming worthy demomakers =) Yoletir
is learning demo making techniques, EXeLENZ is doing the same, LEONKiNG
proceeds with his AntiMicrosoft movement, and does a lot more =)
Our plans for future are extensive, and we hope to implement at least 10%
of them. That will be enough to become world famous !

  We will start with a [FaeF] acquainting, then probably a 64Kb intro, which
we hope will be ready soon enough. We will continue our current projects,
so look out for the _NEW_ game by EXeLENZ, the great XONON! It will soon
be available at all our distro sites. Also consider looking at WinLog
by Yoletir, the best (and only one we know of :) ) log analyzer for Windows
and Win32. Beta 4.A released 17 Sep 97!
